Purpose of the Job
Purpose of the Job Assist the Senior Staff in teaching and examining undergraduate students, conducting practicals and research activities.
Person Specifications
Person Specifications 1. Master of Science Degree in Physiotherapy. 2 Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Rehabilitation. 3. Demonstrate competence in computer and communication skills. 4. Registration with the Uganda Allied Health Professional Council with a valid practicing license.
Duties and Responsibilities
a) Preparing lectures, practicals and conducting them to undergraduate students.
b) Setting tests, examinations and coursework according to University Standards.
c) Marking tests and examinations scripts and compiling results according to grading standards of the University.
d) Administering and invigilating tests, examinations and coursework according to University standards.
e) Supervising students undertaking research in line with the University’s guidelines and regulations.
f) Conducting research and disseminating/publishing findings.
Key Outputs
Key Outputs i. Lectures prepared and delivered to undergraduate students. ii. Tests, examinations and coursework set, marked and results compiled. iii. Tests, examinations and coursework administered. iv. Research conducted, and research findings disseminated/published.
