St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor is a private, not-for-profit hospital located in Gulu City, Uganda. It is seeking to recruit a qualified and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Pharmacy Technician.

Department: Pharmacy Stores – LACOR Hospital Main Pharmacy
Reports To: Pharmacist – Stores Office / Head of Pharmacy Stores
Duty Station: St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor

Job Purpose
The Pharmacy Technician handles all emergency ward requisitions with speed and accuracy, supports routine dispensing operations, and maintains the integrity of Business Central NAV records by posting daily issue vouchers, ensuring that digital inventory reflects actual stock movements on the same day of issue.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Dispensing medicines.
• Emergency order handling.
• NAV system posting.
• Voucher archiving.
• Routine issuing support.
• End-of-day reporting.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Pharmacy Stores and/or the Pharmacist – Stores.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Stores Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a pharmacy or medical stores setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage urgent requests.
• Proficiency in Business Central NAV or a similar ERP system is preferred.
