Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Graphic Designer role based in Kampala. The Graphic Designer will create visual concepts and designs for music releases, digital campaigns, social media content, and promotional materials that reflect Mpiima Media Group’s brand and educational focus. Responsibilities include developing logos and branding assets for artists and projects, designing cover art, posters, banners, and other marketing collateral, and preparing graphics optimized for various digital platforms. The role involves collaborating with content creators, marketers, and artists to translate creative briefs into compelling visual solutions, while ensuring consistency in style and messaging. The Graphic Designer will also manage design files, maintain organized asset libraries, and deliver projects within agreed timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to produce high-quality visual content for digital and print.
- Proficiency in Logo Design and Branding to create cohesive identities for artists, campaigns, and company initiatives.
- Solid understanding of Typography and layout principles to ensure clear, engaging, and accessible designs.
- Experience using industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDRAW, or similar tools).
- Portfolio demonstrating creative work in entertainment, media, or related fields, preferably including music or digital content projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt designs based on feedback.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
