Job Requirements/Responsibilities:
- 1. Maintaining study drug management system in place including study product receipt, control and strict accountability
- 2. Maintaining strict accountability for receipt and disposition of all study drugs
- 3. Ensuring proper storage condition of study drugs
- 4. Monitor expiration dates of study drugs, remove from stock any expired drugs and maintain documentation of such actions
- 5. Conduct monthly physical inventories of study drug
- 6. Receiving, verifying and filling the orders for study drugs from the clinics
- 7. Ensuring adequate stock of study drugs at the clinic
- 8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date pharmacy files
- 9. Maintain a buffer drug management system including projection of need, ordering, receipt, control and strict accountability
- 10. Prepare a weekly work plan/work schedules
Qualifications:
- DIPLOMA : Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institution. Registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council of Uganda with a valid practising licence – Mandatory
Certifications:
- GCP, Responsible Conduct of Research(RCR) or HSP certificates within the last two years – Mandatory
Skill & Experience:
- Atleast 2 years experience in Study Pharmacy role – Added Advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping – Mandatory
- Ability to work flexibly across multidisciplinary teams – Mandatory
