Unit Managers – Life Business (10 Positions)

Are you ready to be responsible for managing, growing, and driving performance of the Unit workforce to achieve set Life Business targets? CIC Africa Life Assurance (U) LTD is hiring Unit Managers for Kampala, Mbale and Jinja to supervise Sales Agents and coordinate individual Life product distribution within the unit.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and retain a minimum of 15 Sales Agents, with at least 10 agents producing two endowment policies per week.
• Conduct market analysis, propose product improvements, and provide recommendations to the Agency Manager.
• Ensure achievement of Unit sales targets (MPI, Case Count, API, and Persistence).
• Ensure continuous and effective training of Sales Agents on products and procedures.
• Design and implement promotional activities to increase product awareness.
• Recommend disciplinary action to the Disciplinary Board for Sales Agents who contravene IRA regulations and the CIC Code of Ethics.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (COP).
• Valid IRA Agent License.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory role within the insurance industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, supervision, training, and computer skills.
• Clear understanding of the Life Assurance business.
