Senior Project Manager

About the Role:
Rockside Consults is seeking a seasoned senior project manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology-driven initiatives across our portfolio. This role calls for a disciplined leader with deep experience steering complex projects within regulated, fast-moving sectors such as banking, financial technology, telecommunications, or software development.
Core Duties:
• Own the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring clear accountability and coordination among developers, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Apply recognized project management frameworks (PMP or PRINCE2) to govern scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues before they impact delivery
• Provide regular, clear reporting to executive leadership and client stakeholders on project health and outcomes
• Safeguard alignment between project deliverables and broader business goals
Required Qualifications:
• A postgraduate degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, or Software Engineering
• At least 10 years of hands-on project management experience within software development, banking, financial technology, or telecommunications
• At least 5 continuous years holding a valid, active PMP or PRINCE2 certification
