Overview/Job Summary

The company is looking for an experienced Manager – Furniture Production to oversee its furniture production operations and ensure efficient manufacturing, inventory management, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily furniture production operations.
• Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to achieve operational targets.
• Monitor production quality, productivity, and adherence to safety standards.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and material requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure the timely availability of materials.
• Monitor budgets, operational expenses, sales performance, and financial reports.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer queries or complaints.
• Prepare regular production, sales, and operational reports for management.
• Interpret and confirm furniture designs, specifications, and production requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of experience in production management, preferably in furniture manufacturing, office furniture, or home décor.
• Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Practical knowledge of furniture-making materials, including adhesives, and the use of portable power tools.
• Ability to operate woodworking machinery, including dimension saws, planning machines, and boring machines.
• Knowledge of furniture assembly, carcass construction, and preparation of freehand drawings.
• Familiarity with CAM software and CNC machines for furniture component production.
• Good understanding of inventory control and stock management systems.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications and POS systems.
• Strong leadership, team management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good customer service and coordination abilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is required.
