Purpose of the Job

Purpose of the Job Assist the Senior Staff in teaching and examining undergraduate students, conducting practicals and research activities.

Person Specifications

Person Specifications 1. Master’s degree in Immunology & Clinical Microbiology. 2. Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science or Bachelor of Biomedical Laboratory Technology or Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology. 3. MUST be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council. 4. Demonstrate competence in computer and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

a) Preparing lectures, practicals and conducting them to undergraduate students.
b) Setting tests, examinations and coursework according to University Standards.
c) Marking tests and examinations scripts and compiling results according to grading standards of the University.
d) Administering and invigilating tests, examinations and coursework according to University standards.
e) Supervising students undertaking research in line with the University’s guidelines and regulations.
f) Conducting research and disseminating/publishing findings.

Key Outputs i. Lectures prepared and delivered to undergraduate students. ii. Tests, examinations and coursework set, marked and results compiled. iii. Tests, examinations and coursework administered. iv. Research conducted, and research findings disseminated/published. v. Tests, course works and exams administered and invigilated vi.
