We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Audit Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing valuable insights to our clients. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out the audit scheduling and staff allocation for all audits of the team/cluster.
- Effective management of assigned client portfolio
- Timely review of relevant audit reports
- Effective and timely execution of Audit related projects
- Effective contribution to the department’s business development initiatives
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Provide guidance and support to audit teams.
- Review and evaluate internal controls and risk management processes.
- Prepare and present audit reports to clients and senior management.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Managing and overseeing junior team, including interns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is required.
- Proficient in IFRS Accounting Standards and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and their impacts on financial statements and auditing respectively.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
