An International Animal/Fish Feed Company is looking for a Country Sales Manager in Rwanda and Uganda
Are you driven by achieving growth, developing markets, and creating long-term value for customers?
As the new Country Sales Manager in Rwanda and Uganda, you will lead the development and execution of our commercial strategy in the Rwanda and Uganda market. You will be responsible for strengthening our position in the countries and driving sales of animal and fish feed.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Lead and grow commercial presence across Rwanda and Uganda
- Develop and execute the country sales strategy to deliver sustainable growth
- Manage, maintain, and expand relationships with key customers and distributors
- Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities in all major aquaculture regions
- Provide market intelligence, monitor trends, and deliver insights to the regional and global teams
- Support planning and execution of customer events, webinars, and training sessions
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and stakeholder meetings in Rwanda
- Collaborate closely with our international teams to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and customer service delivery
- Prepare sales forecasts and regular performance reports
Who You Are
You are a proactive, commercially driven leader with a strong passion for building customer relationships and developing markets. You excel both independently and as part of an international team. You work in a structured, disciplined manner and maintain a positive, solutions-oriented approach every day.
Your Professional Qualifications
- A strong commercial background, ideally with experience in animal and aquaculture, agriculture, or FMCG
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or country-level market management
- Relevant educational background
- Fluency in written and spoken English; Kinyarwanda, French, Luganda and Swahili is a strong advantage
- Ability to travel within Rwanda, Uganda and occasionally internationally
