Reports to: Fleet Manager.
Job Purpose:
To deliver quality, standard and timely services to the entire humanity and their property.
Responsibilities or duties
- Drive company vehicles to pick up or drop employees/ Guards to the stated destination.
- Deliver important documents to required destinations.
- Ensure that all deliveries have been signed and delivered to the correct recipients.
- Report any mechanical problems to your supervisor.
- Perform preventative and regular maintenance on vehicle.
- Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
- Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
- Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.
- Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
Qualifications or requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean driving record.
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Effective communication skills.
- Punctual and reliable.
