Regional Sales Manager at Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda

 Asa Regional Sales Manager, you will report directly to the Sales Director.

 Key Purpose Statement

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sustainable sales growth, delivering profitability targets, leading regional sales operations, and building strong customer partnerships. The role will also be accountable for developing and inspiring a high-performing sales team to achieve exceptional commercial results and execution excellence.

• Lead and inspire the regional sales team to deliver exceptional sales execution and performance.
• Own and manage the region’s portfolio, ensuring delivery against revenue, volume, and profitability targets.
• Monitor sales and marketing performance, providing coaching and corrective actions where required.
• Develop action plans to close performance gaps and continuously improve sales effectiveness.
• Manage sales resource planning, merchandising activities, and execution standards across all channels.
• Ensure effective management of third-party distributors and contractors
• Develop and execute channel-specific sales strategies.
• Drive implementation of local and national promotions, customer programs, and trade initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities for business growth.
• Conduct regular customer business reviews and frequent market visits to strengthen partnerships and improve execution.
• Optimize revenue growth through effective pricing, pack mix, margin management, and customer segmentation.
• Support demand planning by providing market and sales insights.
• Ensure effective asset care, cold drink equipment placement, and utilization of sales automation tools.
• Drive compliance with sales force automation systems, execution standards, and customer data accuracy.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience:

• 10 years’ experience in FMCG sales, with at least 5 years in a commercial leadership position.
• Demonstrated success in delivering sales growth, managing teams, and achieving commercial targets.
• Experience in distributor management and route-to-market execution is an advantage
