Treasury Manager

eTranzact Platform Uganda is a licensed fintech providing electronic payment and digital banking solutions, including mobile banking, instant interbank transfers, and merchant settlements. Licensed by the Bank of Uganda, it focuses on secure, low-cost cross-border payments (up to 50% cheaper) and services for Sacco/Microfinance institutions (SaaS/MaaS)

Role Description

This is a full-time Treasury Manager role based on-site in Kampala. The Treasury Manager will oversee financial operations, manage cash flow, and ensure proper allocation and utilization of the district’s financial resources. Key responsibilities include preparing budgets, managing accounts, monitoring expenditures, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing financial reports for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong financial management, budgeting, and cash flow management skills
• Proficiency in financial reporting and accounting principles
• Knowledge of relevant financial laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Proficiency in using financial management systems and tools
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are highly desirable
• Proven experience in treasury or financial management roles is an advantage
