About This Job: Our client Technology Associates is seeking a results-driven, competent and experienced Senior Power/Electrical Engineer to join their team.
Roles & Required Experience:
• Engine & Mechanical Systems
o Knowledge of diesel/gas engine fundamentals (fuel, lubrication, cooling, exhaust).
o Engine diagnostics (compression, fuel injection, turbochargers, governors).
o Preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
o Hands-on skills in disassembly, repair, and reassembly of engine parts.
• Electrical & Power Systems
o Alternator/generator principles (synchronous generators, excitation systems).
o Voltage regulation, frequency control, and synchronization.
o Power distribution systems (switchgear, transfer switches, breakers).
o Load calculations, balancing, and protection schemes.
• Controls & Automation
o Cummins Power Command control systems (PC1, PC2, PC3, PC4, etc.).
o Remote monitoring and telemetry systems.
o PLC basics and interface with building management systems (BMS).
o Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and paralleling switchgear operation.
