Treesheds Consults Uganda Limited is recruiting on behalf of a reputable client in the mobility (motorcycle) sector for the position below:

Human Resource Manager

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda (East Africa)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives.
• Manage employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
• Ensure compliance with Uganda’s labour laws and company policies.
• Coordinate staff training, development, and succession planning.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate employee records.
• Oversee payroll coordination, leave administration, and employee welfare.
• Advise management on strategic human resource matters.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
• A postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management is an added advantage.
• Membership with the Human Resource Managers’ Association of Uganda (HRMAU) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of Uganda labour laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems is an added advantage.
