Role Description The Operations Management Trainee is a part-time, on-site role based in Kampala. The trainee will support daily coordination of fumigation, pest control, and cleaning operations, including scheduling jobs, allocating teams, and monitoring progress on service visits. Responsibilities include assisting with workflow planning, maintaining operational records, and helping ensure safety, quality, and compliance with company procedures. The role involves communicating with clients, capturing service feedback, and collaborating with technicians and supervisors to resolve operational issues. The trainee will also help with basic reporting, inventory checks, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret operational data for decision-making.
• Candidates should possess Operations Management skills, including workflow coordination and basic resource planning.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
• Candidates should possess Project Management skills to assist in planning, tracking, and completing service assignments on time.
• Diploma or degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Kampala and adapt to field-based operations in various locations.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn pest control industry practices.
• Basic computer literacy (e.g., MS Office, email, spreadsheets) and familiarity with record-keeping is beneficial.
