Quantity Surveyor job at Urban Scape Design Associates Ltd (URSDA)

Urban Scape Design Associates Ltd (URSDA), a planning and design consultancy in Kampala, is staffing a public infrastructure planning study in northern Uganda. We need a Quantity Surveyor for a short assignment of about 6 weeks, starting in November 2026.

What you will do

• Prepare indicative costs for public infrastructure, including roads, water, power, schools, health facilities and markets.
• Build unit rates from current Ugandan prices, using price data collected by our field team.
• Build a clear Excel cost model that others can check and update.
• Set out your assumptions and work closely with our planners.

What we are looking for

• A qualification in quantity surveying, or in civil engineering with strong costing experience.
• At least 3 years of experience costing public infrastructure in Uganda.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Careful work to a short deadline.
• Professional registration is not required.
